  2.         This is a handy little utility that I found a while ago that will
  3. take files named in the  MAIL.001 format and rename them to MAIL.IN (edit
  4. MAILREN.CFG and you can change all this).  I couldn't remember where I found
  5. this little program,  but luckily N2QAE was able to track down the original
  6. source of the program.

  9. To set up this program, put MAILREN.EXE and MAILREN.CFG in the \FBB directory.
  10. Make sure to edit MAILREN.CFG as needed.
  11. Then to you \FBB\SYSTEM\CRON.SYS add the line:
  12. X \FBB\MAILREN
  13.  
  14. Now you can use the optional import file naming feature of M_FILTER if the
  15. import file exists.  Every hour the MAILREN program will run and rename the
  16. MAIL.001 (and the other MAIL.XXX files accordingly) to MAIL.IN if MAIL.IN 
  17. doesn't exist.
